About the course:
City and Guilds Level 3 AMSPAR Advanced Certificate for Medical Administration.
It is expected that it will take 12-18 months to complete based on 2-3 hours study per week.
The course is to be completed in a maximum of 18 months or further charges will be incurred
The Certificate is awarded on achievement of 30 learning credits which will be gained by completing the following mandatory units:

This is, in the main part, a distance learning course with assignment based assessments.
Students will be required to sit an end of unit exam or timed assignment at one of our exam centres based in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Lincoln or St Austell. If you are working within a medical environment is may be possible for you to sit it within the workplace, if facilities allow. We do have access to an exam centre in Dublin, however there are additional fees for this.

We offer students the option to pay in full or by eight monthly instalments. This option incurs an additional administration fee of £20.00. No card details are held or stored on the BSMSA website or by the BSMSA.The remaining seven instalments must be paid by standing order over seven consecutive months. If your fee is being paid by a Trust or similar, a purchase order guaranteeing payment, must be sent to the BSMSA office at the time of enrolment. An invoice may be requested in advance.
If you already have the BSMSA Certificate in Medical Terminology then £180.00 can be deducted from the course cost. If you have the City and Guilds level 2 or 3 Certificate in Medical Terminology £200.00 can be deducted from your payment.
If you have already achieved the City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Medical Administration, which includes some of the elements above there will be a saving when upgrading to this qualification.
